Hello
Hi, I’m Romana, and I have always been curious about what drives people’s behaviour, decision-making, and desires. Is it unresolved trauma from childhood, meaning that we attach to our experiences or learned behavioural patterns? I am passionate about creating a safe space where clients can explore their experiences and challenges and unlock new insights and understanding.
I am a Registered Psychotherapist with a Master's Degree in Counselling Psychology. I have over 14 years of experience working as a mental health professional. I have helped clients overcome problems relating to addiction, depression, anxiety, attachment, adverse childhood experiences, trauma, identity issues, low self-esteem, and relationship difficulties. I am committed to helping those who got stuck in unhelpful patterns and who are disconnected from themselves and others to live happier and more fulfilled lives.
I use an integrative approach with a basis in Attachment and Trauma- Focused Therapy, Internal Family Systems (IFS) Therapy, and Cognitive Behavioural Therapy. I draw from somatic, cognitive and behavioural interventions to invite change and acceptance to clients' lives.
